Playing against their friends from our town's other girls team is always the most stressful. Usually we play them a couple of times a season, but this year because there are so few teams, we will play them 4 times. Today we came out with a 1-0 win. And look at those cool clouds!

Today I drove the tractor for the first time. I look worried here, but really I was just trying to make a goofy face.

Happy Mother's Day to me! So thankful for these lovely young women that I have been blessed with.

I love watching how Joelle is with the kittens. Chandler is her favorite, but she does still spend a lot of time with Simon (in her arms) and Tom. She has bonded so much with them. And that's the reason they are in my house. Although once they get full grown, they will only be allowed in their bedrooms...with the door closed!

I have been loving getting back into my crocheting. I don't think I'll have a lot of time to work on promoting a lot of new projects, but I am working on something for my new living room and I'm enjoying every minute of it!

This game was a lot more fun to watch! They played a great game and won 4-3. I have still been missing volleyball so much that I wasn't sure I would enjoy soccer as much as I have in previous years. But today proved that it was just as exciting as it always has been!

It had been a couple of months since I had bought any yarn or had done any crocheting, due to the move. But after seeing a beautiful pattern of something on Facebook, I had to pop by Michaels to get the yarn I needed to start making it!

Malia's first soccer game of the season was tonight! Unfortunately, due to there only being THREE U14 girls teams in their league (????), the soccer league tried to give us some more variety in our games by giving us some exhibition games against a couple of "mixed" teams. The only problem is, the "mixed" team we played against only had 2 girls...and there were several times where neither of the girls were even on the field! So essentially we played a boys team, and they kicked our butts big-time. But as a result of the extreme unevenness, neither of our town's girl's teams will be playing any more of our mixed games. So all we will play will be the other team from our town and only one other team. Not a lot of variety, but at least it's more evenly matched, making it more fun to play!

I'm about half-way into my Biggest Loser competition and things have not been going well. I'll keep plugging along though...

Me holding a full grown cat is not something that you will EVER see. But since they're still kittens, I can at least tolerate them. For about 10 seconds.
